Wooden Bridges and Side Stitches!

The weather has been consistent lately! Foggy, lots of water on the ground, with cool misty rain in the mid 50’s, perfect for a little adversity! The pre-workout Paper Route was complete with wheelies and wipe outs! I can’t record this without a shout out to Postal for showing some #grit on the #crashcourse, and the 5:15AM Flight of Colonel Sanders, Peach, and Smokey Bear who were in attendance with 21+ miles.

Date of Beatdown:

 Grass Patch, Peach, Gold Rush, and YHC

Along this portion of the route, the #Deinke said to stop at the Church for more arm work. HOWEVER, YHC pointed out the X-Country's off-road trail which flanked the HWY...

#mumblechatter #mumblechatter and then DETOUR... We tossed the #Weinke out the proverbial window (of course we would never litter)!

Ran the course and dodged some large mud holes, took it off course and made it back to the campus with 30 minutes to go!!!

Now WHAT?!? IMPROVISE : Find a hill...

Then 2 rounds of Wall Sits (1 min or was it until someone had to stand?) combined with Arm Circles rotating to Dips (IC) on the park bench.

To keep in the spirit of breaking new ground, we went for a MOSEY to the common area (our generation called it the smoke break and canteen vending area).

Derkins with our feet on the steps.
Gold Rush led us in a serpentine step run.
Peach led us in more DIPS IC
Grass Patch challenged us to HIGH step ups 10 EA Leg IC
We charged the hill with 3 sets of sprints.

Made it back to the flag for some good stretching!

Circle of Trust:
 Good conversation all morning. Good whetstone and blade interaction. Many prayers and laughs all morning. We all were proud of Postal for finishing the bike ride.
Prayers for our brothers struggling to get well, and those on the IR.
The Bike 101 was good and we are offering it next week too.

 Shared Psalm 119.
1 Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are those who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart—....
10 I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands.
11 I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you...
15 I meditate on your precepts
and consider your ways...
30I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I have set my heart on your laws.

During this time of LENT, we need to focus on putting God's word in our heart and #GettingRight. As the Psalm writer mentioned multiple times, he has chosen to take a path to grow closer to God's Love. Are we waiting on a blessing or God's goodness, without first searching for a relationship with God?
Oftentimes the struggles become our greatest blessings if we have the right attitude DURING the time of FORGING our life into a story that God can use to inspire others.
We have an active part in a relationship with our maker and he wants (desires) us to seek him. Our decision to seek, is taking an active (intentional) part in a relationship with the #SkyQ. So, join me over these next few weeks to be intentional in seeking a deeper relationship by getting into the word daily!
It was an honor to lead #TheAnvil!
Forge ahead!
