The Thang That Surely Happened:
It was great to have Etchasketch back in the gloom after three weeks off on IR. Heck, it was great to see all of these guys, Bluegrass had been DR and busy training for the Adventure race, Tag Team had been DR with a bum knee, and Rain Bird had been out with a twisted ankle!

Etch had been looking around during the COP and said that he had heard voices all morning around the AO. I ashamedly laughed at him and told him he'd been out too long! Alas, I take the PAX on a mosey around the parking lot, and we see a homeless man curled up beside the church awning! Not what we expected, but confirmation of Etchasketch's voices. My plans then changed, more about that later.

The Thang

A new exercise I call Peek-a-boo. All PAX plank while one man does the called out exercise. 10 Merkins this round. All men have the opportunity to encourage, critique, or cheer on while a single PAX shows off perfect form! When one man finishes, the next man goes until each has had an opportunity. Next round 5 merkins.

I called for Eleven's, Carolina Dry Docks here, Run and Squat there, exercises always adding up to 11.

Peek-a-boo again, this time 5 Burpees each!

Grab a coupon for some curls. 21's. 7 for half way up, 7 Half way to all the way up, 7 full range.

Bent over rows, 10 with your coupon, switch to the right, 10 more. Making our way through everyone's coupon. This was a promise to Bluegrass I'd made last time I forgot to rotate coupons! Next we formed a line and would walk about 15 yards with our coupon over our head, switch, enough to make it through all the coupons again.

My verse today was Psalm 27:4 "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in his temple." I had used this verse before at The Anvil, but knowing that God's word doesn't change, I was wanted to use it again. How awesome of a prayer, to gaze upon that beauty throughout all of eternity!

This morning, many things went "not according to planned". I was prepared to leave the AO in search for different stomping grounds, but after seeing the young man sleeping by the Church, I decided to stay put. My Q changed, the location and the exercises, they all changed. Was I prepared for the morning, sure, but true #Preparedness is getting ready for the expected while being ready for the unexpected. Bluegrass decided during the COT to leave and go get the young man a blanket, Etch left to go get the young man a warm cup of coffee. We all, I'm sure came to work out thinking one thing, but left thinking something else. We should be so thankful for these friendships we have within F3, our brothers that we can call, our brothers that we can lift up, and our brothers who need us as much as we need them. We all have a warm home that we can go back to, and for most an M and 2.0 that are ready to see us return home safely from the gloom. But what about the young man who didn't have a home this morning, what about him? What was his name, what was his situation, what life events happened for in to be out in the cold without a home? We may never know, but as we closed in the ball of man, I prayed for him because he needed that most of all this morning.

As always, it's an honor to Q!

Aye!
